What was your aviation journey ahead of joining Vista?
After training as a Cabin Host in France, I applied for a few of the world’s best commercial carriers – Qatar, Emirates, etc. I accepted a job with Emirates and moved to Dubai, where I lived for 8 years. However, I wanted to move back to Europe to raise my family, this meant I couldn’t continue my job with Emirates. Luckily, I came across VistaJet and got an opportunity as a Cabin Host.
How do you find working in the industry/Vista now?
What I love about Vista is the family mindset this company has. There is no hierarchy in the company. A new starter can approach our leadership to sit down and learn more without any judgement or ego getting in the way. At the end of the day, we are all human beings, and Vista always treats us like that.
Every time I fly, I’m a VistaJet ambassador. They give me the opportunity to shine. I’m not just a number here, I am a human being and treated and respected as such.
What advice would you give to younger women thinking about getting into the industry?
Whether it’s females or males, everyone is welcome in aviation. I’ve always felt so protected, respected, and proud to be a female in this industry. It’s never, ever been a problem for me.
And don’t give up. Everything is possible. The women at Vista have such a big place and role at this company and we are proud of that. As a woman, I believe aviation is the best industry to work in. And at Vista, there’s no other carrier I’d work for.
Favorite memory at Vista?
Every human being I meet at Vista is a memory for me. Every new city I touch down in is a memory for me. Sitting down with my colleagues after a flight and having dinner with them is a new memory for me.
An unforgettable experience was landing in Africa in the middle of nowhere and seeing kids bathing in the streets, this gave me have a new perspective.
